The City That Stole My Heart

New York has to be one of the most beautiful and vibrant cities I have ever had the chance to visit. Its dynamism as a city was breathtaking, and there simply is no comparison to any other city I have been to. It has the culture and romance of Paris, the alternativeness of London, the fashions of Milan, and so so much more. New York has stolen my heart, and I know that on returning to this perfect city, it'll be for a lot longer than 3 short days.

Chelsea Market

Chelsea market proved to be exactly like we were told - a treasure trove of unusual shops, good food and live music. We spent the majority of our final day here, wandering around the stores and outside to the local boutiques and luxury shops.

Chelsea

I think the second we arrived in Chelsea I fell in love with the place. The architecture, piers and atmosphere were simply irresistible. The High Line and market were places that were simply breathtaking, and made me want to go back there more than anything else.

Kiosk - The Little Museum

Stumbling accross Kiosk in the centre of Soho was one of the highlights of New York. The entrance was simply an open doorway with a graffiti staircase with large coloured fairy lights wrapped around the banister. When you entered the mini museum come store, you were surrounded by all sorts of curiosities.

Free People

Free People was a change upon store that we discovered in Soho. Their fabrics and new outlook on the world of fashion and clothing was incredible. Their visual merchandising really emphasized the clothing and accessories on sale.

Downtown Soho

Soho and Downtown New York proved to be one of the best areas we visited! Packed full of designer shops, boutiques and unexpected galleries we could've done with more time to see it all! Once again, the visual merchandising was incredible, and so different to that of stores here in the United Kingdom.

Anthropologie at Rockefeller

Anthropologie is one of the most intricately designed shop I have ever seen. It was more like going into a museum of curiosities than a home and clothing store. All of their products had been assembled to let the customer see how they would fit into a home, which tea sets went best with which glasses, but overall, made the store incredibly beautiful.
